Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Sr Associate, Software Engineering - C2 NDPP in Colorado Springs, CO to design, develop, and maintain space command and control software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement interfaces, performance requirements, and overall system design across the full software lifecycle.

The role requires a Java full stack background, the ability to obtain Security+ certification, and eligibility for a US Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Participating in all phases of the software development life cycle, creating software test procedures, developing software programs, preparing related documentation, conducting peer reviews, identifying, tracking, and resolving software defects.
• Clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas.
• Collaborate effectively with small teams of software engineers.
• Develop software as a Java full stack engineer.
