Amberwood Estates Nursing and Rehabilitation in St. Louis, MO is seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team on a full-time basis.

You will help residents by providing social services and coordinating programs to support emotional, social, and recreational well-being. You will assess residents, develop treatment plans, offer counseling, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure compliance with regulations while supporting budgets and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) or BS in social work; LCSW or LMSW certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in social services, preferably in a senior care setting.
• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs to meet the emotional, social, and recreational needs of residents.
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide counseling services to residents.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address residents' needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop and manage department budgets and resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and service providers.
• Monitor and improve department operations to ensure high-quality services.
