Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Social Worker III or in a supervisory role within NC DSS
• Strong knowledge of NC policy, practice standards, and quality improvement
• Ability to work independently while leveraging technology effectively
• Demonstrated adaptability, emotional intelligence, and change management skills
• Willingness to travel across North Carolina and maintain a flexible schedule

Responsabilités

• Investigate reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation (APS)
• Initiate and manage guardianship proceedings and prepare legal documentation
• Assess eligibility and develop care plans (In-Home Aide & Support Services)
• Evaluate placement needs for adult care homes or nursing facilities (Long-Term Care)
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary partners and provide crisis intervention and long-term case planning
