Suffolk County Council is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Countywide Forensic Mental Health Team within Adult Social Care on a permanent basis. This role focuses on adults with complex needs in the community, offering support, supervision and a chance to develop practice in forensic mental health.

You will manage a substantial caseload, mentor colleagues and work alongside partners in health, criminal justice and the voluntary sector to deliver improved outcomes.

Formación

• You will have significant social work experience and be able to model good practice in complex situations.
• You will be able to mentor newly qualified and experienced colleagues and work with diverse partners.
• You will demonstrate a strong understanding of current legislation, regulations and guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Manage your own complex caseload and support colleagues with theirs.
• Provide statutory social supervision for adults subject to conditional discharge.
• Complete Care Act assessments for adults in the criminal justice system.
• Build strong partnerships with NHS trusts, MAPPA and other agencies to improve outcomes.
