Job summary

Travel outside the county may be required. You will provide advice and mentorship to colleagues, work with autonomy, and embed place-based services within the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory professional social work.
• Ability to undertake needs assessments and care planning.
• Experience with safeguarding processes and adult protection.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied and complex caseload with supervision and guidance from seniors.
• Undertake needs assessments under Care Act 2014 to identify care and support needs.
• Collaborate with safeguarding colleagues on safeguarding enquiries.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or students as appropriate.
• Identify non-eligible needs and coordinate with partners to address wider needs.
• Develop value-for-money care packages and monitor risk and quality of life.
