Job summary

JASA in New York City is seeking a Social Worker Supervisor to lead our Case Management team at two Queens Older Adult Centers. You will provide clinical supervision and guidance, support staff development, and help ensure high-quality, person-centered services for older adults.

The role involves coordinating with program directors, participating in staff trainings, and addressing complex cases while maintaining program quality and funder requirements. In-person work at the centers is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Gerontology, Psychology, or a related field.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience working with older adults or in a community-based social services setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and clinical guidance to Case Managers.
• Facilitate monthly staff meetings in collaboration with the Associate Director.
• Review and approve case notes and logs to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Identify staff training needs and ensure participation in professional development and funder-required trainings.
• Provide guidance on complex cases and escalation of high-risk or emergency situations to the Associate Director.
• Maintain an active caseload and provide in-person case assistance at Older Adult Centers as needed.
• Support access to essential benefits and services for participants.
