Union County seeks a Senior Social Work Supervisor to oversee social work staff delivering services to clients and families with complex needs. The role includes supervising senior and school social workers and behavioral health therapists, assigning cases, and coordinating workflows.

You will provide training, monitor performance, and advise management on operational improvements. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in social work or related field with at least five years of experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in social work or related human services field.
One year of work experience can be credited for NC Child-Welfare Education collaborative Pre-service training or licensure as a Clinical Social Worker.
Must have valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

Supervises staff delivering intensive social work services to clients and families.
Reviews program objectives and sets goals for the assigned program.
Assigns cases and workload to staff, maintaining balance.
Provides input on administrative, personnel, and budget issues.
Ensures policies and regulations are followed and handles disciplinary actions as needed.
Monitors staff work via case reviews and progress reports.
