Job summary

Warren County (NC) seeks an experienced supervisor to lead a staff of social workers providing direct and/or indirect services to clients. The role oversees Social Worker III and Human Services Coordinator III levels, assigns cases, coordinates workflow, and provides substantial technical direction and staff training.

You will monitor performance, ensure quality services, participate in staff reviews, and contribute to program planning and budget discussions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field with relevant supervised experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with substantial related experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s in human services with related experience acceptable.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience supervising social workers and coordinating program activities.
• Strong knowledge of regulations governing social work programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of social workers, including assignment of cases and workload balance.
• Provide on-going training, case reviews, and technical direction to staff.
• Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with management on administrative, personnel, and budgeting issues.
• Participate in staff performance evaluations and disciplinary processes.
