Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Senior Producer, Social Media to lead the creation of video, graphics, editing, and written content for all social channels. You will drive ideation and production while ensuring brand alignment across platforms.

Responsibilities include supervising a team of social producers, collaborating with On-Air and Creative Services, and refining posting workflows. Travel about 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
• Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred.
• Knowledge of social media networks.

Responsibilities

• Create original video and graphic content for all platforms that aligns with the network's brand.
• Monitor broadcasts and identify content for social platforms.
• Collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams on social content.
• Develop and refine workflow and posting strategy with social and digital teams.
• Capture b-roll, interviews and other content at live events.
• Mentor a team of social media producers.
• May oversee day-to-day operations of the social media producer team.
• Coordinate content requests from Social Media Managers to align with brand strategy.
• Stay informed about emerging social platforms, tools and trends; explore expansion opportunities.
• Travel approximately 20%.
