Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Senior Producer, Social Media to create video, graphics, and written content for all social channels. You will monitor broadcasts, collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams, and help develop posting strategies across platforms.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS (or equivalent) and 5+ years in related fields, with strong copywriting, communication, and social media analytics skills. Travel and live-event content capture are part of the role.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
• Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred.
• Knowledge of social media networks.

Responsibilities

• Create original video and graphic content for all platforms that aligns with the brand.
• Monitor broadcasts and identify content for social platforms
• Collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams on social content
• Develop and refine workflow and posting strategy with social/digital teams
• Capture b-roll, interviews and other content at live events
• Mentor a team of social media producers
• May oversee day-to-day operations of the social media producer team
• Coordinate content requests from Social Media Managers to align with brand strategy
