Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking a Senior Producer, Social Media responsible for producing video, graphics, editing, ideating and written content for use on all social media channels.

You will create original video and graphic content, monitor broadcasts for social opportunities, and collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams to develop social-specific content and posting strategies. Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related field preferred; or equivalent work experience
• Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred
• Knowledge of social media networks

Responsibilities

• Create original video and graphic content for all platforms that aligns with the network's brand
• Monitor broadcasts and identify content for social platforms
• Collaborate with On-Air and Creative Services teams on the development of social-specific content
• Work with social and digital teams to develop and refine workflow and posting strategy
• Capture b-roll, interviews and other content at live sporting events, media days, and on set
• Mentor a team of social media producers
• May oversee some day-to-day operations of the social media producer team, including task delegation, scheduling, and workload management
• Coordinate social media content requests from Social Media Managers, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy and creative objectives
• Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and trends, exploring opportunities for expansion and experimentation
• Travel approximately 20%
