Job summary

Dentsu is seeking a senior social strategist in New York to own the social strategy, tie plans to real KPIs, and partner with account leads and client teams. You will shape cross-functional campaigns, embed social best practices into major brand initiatives, and use data to optimize performance while raising creative and strategic quality.

This role emphasizes leadership and staying ahead of platform trends.

Qualifications

7-9 years minimum experience
Expertise in the social space with a passion for the internet and its fast-changing nature; agency experience preferred

Responsibilities

Own the social strategy, build, launch, and optimize social plans tied to real KPIs
Partner with Account Leads and client teams to embed social expertise across campaigns
Collaborate cross-functionally to shape integrated, culturally relevant campaigns using consumer insights
Push creative and strategic quality through feedback and hands-on iteration
Lead on what's new in social—platforms, formats, tactics, and trends
Embed social best practices into channel plans and major brand initiatives
Keep high-stakes programs on track to meet and exceed brand expectations
Let data guide creative direction and strategy in real time
Set tone and standard for the broader social team through example
