Mojo Supermarket seeks a Strategy Director, Social to lead strategic thinking behind social-first client relationships. This senior role requires fluency across platforms, and the ability to guide long-term strategy, reactive work, and culture-driven opportunities.

You will connect business objectives with audience behavior, partnering with Creative and Account leadership, while mentoring junior strategists and shaping Mojo’s social discipline. Hybrid NYC-based team.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in strategy, with social-first or culturally driven environments
• Proven track record leading always-on and reactive social strategy for major brands
• Deep fluency across major social platforms and understanding of people, communities and creators
• Experience building longer-term social strategies or platforms
• Strong brand and communications strategy fundamentals with social as core
• Strong cultural judgment and ability to distinguish meaningful opportunities from trends
• Track record turning insights into strategic direction for stronger creative work
• Experience leading senior client conversations and influencing stakeholders
• Fluency in social listening, audience research, performance data and measurement
• Experience mentoring or managing strategists and elevating thinking

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy for major social-first accounts, setting direction across always-on, campaigns, creators, community and reactive work
• Build and steward an enduring social platform that connects long-term brand building with day-to-day presence
• Define platform roles, audiences, content territories and cultural opportunities for a distinctive social presence
• Lead major briefs and planning, translating insights into strong creative springboards
• Identify proactive/reactive opportunities rooted in culture, community and platform behavior
• Serve as strategic voice in creative reviews, partnering with leadership to sharpen the work
• Build trusted relationships with senior clients, offering clear strategic POV
• Use social listening and performance data to evolve strategy and improve work
• Mentor strategists, elevating strategic craft and fluency in social
• Lead strategic thinking in new business and evolve Mojo’s Strategy discipline
