Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a strategic, creatively minded social leader to own and evolve our brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging channels. This role goes beyond publishing; it is about crafting social-first storytelling that stops, engages, and compels audiences to return.

You’ll own the social strategy, collaborate with founders and the creative team, and build a small social team over time while nurturing an engaged community around our Vermont-rooted brand.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of relevant experience in social for a premium brand.
• Experience owning social for a wellness or lifestyle brand is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own social strategy, editorial direction, and content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging channels.
• Develop social-first concepts around our brand, products, ingredients, people, Vermont roots and broader world.
• Work closely with our creative team and founders to bring those ideas to life.
• Build and nurture an engaged social community leveraging a creator CRM and collaborating with the Creator Marketing team.
• Be in tune with the cultural zeitgeist and conversations about our brand and competitors.
• Lead organic social support for product launches, campaigns, events, partnerships and other initiatives.
• Identify high-performing organic content for paid amplification with the Growth team.
• Use data to continuously improve content and channel strategy.
• Collaborate with Creator Marketing lead to connect owned storytelling with the creator ecosystem.
• Over time, build and manage a small social team with interim support.
