Job summary

Experis Technology Group seeks a Verification Engineer 4 for onsite work in San Jose, CA, to join a CPU/GPU SoC verification effort. You will verify ASIC blocks and IP cores, collaborate with design and verification teams, and drive test plans with directed and constrained-random tests.

The role emphasizes strong debugging, OO programming, and extending verification infrastructure with SystemVerilog/SystemC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of proven verification experience on large ASIC projects
• Strong background in C/C++ development in a Linux environment
• Strong debug skills with GDB and Valgrind
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming, STL, computer architecture, and data structures
• Knowledge of Perl and Makefiles; Verilog/SystemVerilog/SystemC is preferred; DPI/PLI experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify blocks of complex ASICs and IP cores within a CPU/GPU SoC development effort
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to validate functionality
• Document and execute test plans using directed and constrained-random tests during simulation
• Adopt evolving verification methodologies and extend verification infrastructure
• Utilize hardware modeling and assertion-based verification techniques to support SoC verification
