Job summary

Ampere is seeking a Sr. Principal SoC Power Management Architect to drive SoC level power management architecture, translating requirements into specs and partnering with product and cross-functional teams to meet power, performance and energy targets.

You will collaborate with global SoC and IP teams, enable HW-SW codesign, and provide direction to verification teams to deliver high-quality architecture definitions and documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in power architecture and SoC low-power design.
• Experience mapping architecture to DVFS/power-state control.
• RTL-level design and verification familiarity.
• Power optimization with measurable impact on performance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end power management architecture for SoC and IP.
• Translate product requirements into implementable power strategies.
• Drive IP power capabilities with subsystem architects.
• Balance HW/SW/FW trade-offs for feasible solutions.
• Provide architectural direction and lead reviews toward Lead Power Management Architect.
• Enable HW-SW codesign with firmware developers to align with architecture.
• Guide pre/post verification teams to deliver architecture documentation and Si.
