Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Lead Silicon Software and Hardware Integration Engineer to bridge the gap between custom silicon architectures and software stacks. You will bring complex SoCs/ASICs to life, overseeing pre-silicon planning through physical silicon bring-up and system-level debugging, while coordinating across hardware and software teams.

This onsite role is based in San Diego, CA; Kent, WA; or Austin, TX, with up to 20% travel and relocation support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in signal processing, RF design, or system integration.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead HW/SW integration and establish project timelines for silicon programs.
• Oversee hardware bring-up and initialization of newly manufactured chips in the lab.
• Drive HW/FW integration for cohesive system behavior on silicon.
