Blue Origin is hiring a Sr. Manager for Software Integration and Test in Kent, WA and Huntsville, AL. You will lead a talented team responsible for software integration and testing across multiple programs, collaborating with HIL, vehicle test, FSW, and systems engineering teams to ensure robust software validation.

This role emphasizes people leadership, development, and building scalable CI/CD pipelines while ensuring successful software-in-the-loop and test-bed activities across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, integration, or testing within the aerospace industry.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a people management role.
• Proficient in C/C++ development with strong technical prowess.
• Skilled in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Real-time operating systems and embedded control systems knowledge (APIs, interfaces, drivers).
• Familiarity with UDP/TCP, I2C, UART, etc.
• Strong SDLC and testing methodologies knowledge.
• Git familiarity (Git, GitLab, GitHub).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing software integration and test team.
• Develop and execute SIL test plans and validation plans for test beds.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with HIL, vehicle test, FSW, and systems engineering teams.
• Define, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Report test progress and risks to program leadership.
