Job summary

MemryX Inc. is seeking a Senior SoC Architect to define system-level architecture for next-generation AI edge chips. You will translate product requirements into scalable hardware solutions and guide decisions from early exploration through silicon bring-up.

Lead cross-functional teams across RTL, firmware, software, and compiler, focusing on high-performance, power-efficient designs for edge computing. A strong track record in ASIC/SoC architecture is essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of industry experience in ASIC/SoC design.
• Minimum 3+ years in a lead architectural capacity.
• Proven track record of architecting and taping out complex, high-performance SoCs.
• Strong passion for hardware development and AI architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall SoC architecture including memory hierarchy, IP selection, high-speed interconnects, coherency, I/O, security, and power-management architectures.
• Own SoC architecture specifications and roadmaps; author, review, and maintain architectural/micro-architecture documents.
• Evaluate architectural tradeoffs balancing performance, power, area, cost, and schedule for edge computing workloads.
• Analyze target AI workloads and develop performance models to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with RTL, verification, firmware, compiler, and application teams across the lifecycle.
• Lead architecture reviews, document requirements, and support pre-silicon validation and post-silicon bring-up.
