Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Tier 3 SOC Analyst to support the District of Columbia OCTO. You will monitor, detect, analyze, remediate, and report on cyber events impacting government infrastructure.

The role serves as an advanced escalation point for Tier 2 analysts and requires extensive experience leading SOC operations in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will manage complex incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related field with 5+ years of incident handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC, DLP, and endpoint protection.
• Proactive threat intelligence analysis and IOC/IOA handling.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.
• SANS GCIA/GCED/GPEN/GCIH or similar certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Scrutinize escalated cybersecurity events from Tier 2 and provide corrective analysis.
• Perform in-depth analysis and trend/correlation of logs, events, and alerts.
• Proactively search logs and network data to identify threats.
• Tune security tools with analysts to reduce false positives.
• Ingest IOCs/IOAs into security tools to protect DC network.
• Quality-check advisories and coordinate incident response with teams.
• Support enterprise technicians to resolve confirmed incidents.
• Develop SOPs and Runbooks for SOC Analysts.
• Respond to inbound requests for technical assistance and coordinate escalations.
