Job summary

Collaboredge Inc. in Washington, DC, is seeking a SOC Analyst - Tier 3 to lead and oversee a team of SOC Analysts in monitoring, detecting, and remediating cybersecurity events affecting government infrastructure.

The role requires advanced technical background with hands-on SIEM, IDS/IPS, and incident response experience, plus strong log analysis and threat hunting capabilities to support timely remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or related area with minimum five years of demonstrated operational experience coordinating cybersecurity incidents and response.
• In-depth understanding of current cybersecurity threats, attacks and countermeasures (phishing, ransomware, DDoS, etc.).
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC, DLP, DAM, web/email filtering, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical oversight to a team of SOC Analysts for monitoring, detecting, and remediating cybersecurity events.
• Analyze large data sets from logs and alerts to identify incidents and guide remediation.
• Develop and tune response procedures to reduce false positives and improve incident handling.
