Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited is hiring a Tier 3 SOC Analyst to support the District of Columbia OCTO. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, analyzing, remediating, and reporting cybersecurity events across DC Government infrastructure.

The analyst will lead escalation, provide advanced technical oversight, and collaborate with SOC teams to drive rapid containment and remediation of incidents in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in cybersecurity incident handling.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC, DLP, DAM, and endpoint protection.
• Strong knowledge of threats, attacks, and countermeasures across networks and hosts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience leading SOC teams or escalations in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of threat intel and IOC/IOA ingestion and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Escalate and oversee Tier 2 incidents, providing corrective analysis.
• Analyze large log/data sets to identify and remediate cybersecurity incidents.
• Tune security tools and develop response procedures to reduce false positives.
• Ingest IOCs/IOAs into security tools to protect government networks.
• Develop SOPs and Runbooks for SOC analysts and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with Incident Response Lead and other teams to ensure timely resolution.
