Job summary

Gartner Information Security seeks a Senior Security Analyst to strengthen global Security Operations. You will independently manage complex investigations, improve detection and response, and protect Gartner’s people, data, and IP.

Our SOC operates 24x7 across time zones, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. You will work on a hybrid model at our Stamford, CT center and contribute to improving processes and tooling across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience triaging and investigating cybersecurity events in a time-sensitive environment.
• Hands-on security operations with incident response experience.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate security incidents from triage to closure.
• Correlate evidence across SIEM/EDR/cloud/email/proxy networks.
• Produce concise incident notes and stakeholder-ready reports.
• Develop and tune detection content and playbooks.
• Build tools and automation to reduce repetitive work.
• Identify threats and misconfigurations across endpoints, networks and cloud.
• Escalate and share knowledge to strengthen SOC capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC maturity.
