Job summary

Boyne Resorts’ Summit at Snoqualmie is seeking a seasoned Snowmaker III to operate the full range of snowmaking equipment, including SMI fan guns and SmartSnow7 systems, on challenging mountainous terrain in all weather.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, train Snowmaker I and II staff, and maintain safety standards and clear communication with the Control Room.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of snowmaking experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for developing personnel and coordinating with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMI fan guns in manual and automatic (SmartSnow7) mode.
• Follow SMI 480V safety protocols and power cord handling.
• Position SMI towers for coverage maximization.
• Troubleshoot SMI systems and diagnose icing/power issues.
• Interpret SmartSnow7 HMI displays and communicate alerts to Control Room.
