Boyne Resorts’ Summit at Snoqualmie seeks entry‑level Snowmaker I to launch and maintain snow base for ski season. You’ll work outdoors in cold mountain environments, learn snowmaking operation under experienced crew, and support safety and efficient snow production.

You will passively contribute to pre-season setup, operate guns, hydrants, and transport equipment, while staying flexible to shifts, training, and team needs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn is essential; no prior snowmaking experience required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of navigating mountainous terrain while attending to snowmaking equipment.
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Punctual, positive, and adaptable; safe working in all weather.
• Able to work independently once trained and know personal limits.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-use visual and auditory inspection of hydrants and identify failure vectors.
• Operate snow guns and related equipment, including setup and shutdown procedures.
• Manage hydraulic hoses and connections to prevent kinks and bursts.
• Learn and follow radio protocol and report gun state changes.
• Operate snowmobiles and ATVs safely on rugged terrain.
• Assist with safe boarding and unloading of chairlifts.
