Qualifications

• 1–3 years of snowmaking or mountain operations experience.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment issues and assessing snow quality.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be physically capable of negotiating mountainous terrain.

Responsibilities

• Assess wind direction and plan gun runs to prevent ice buildup.
• Work independently on full gun runs and manage time and terrain decisions.
• Operate snowmaking hardware and adjust nozzle settings and hydrants.
• Troubleshoot common gun issues such as frozen nozzles or low pressure; monitor snow quality.
• Communicate gun-state changes via radio and operate snowmobiles on mountain terrain.
