Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
• 3–7 years SMT process engineering in EMS/high-mix environments.
• Operational knowledge of DEK, Panasonic, Fuji, Heller, Koh Young, CyberOptics SMT equipment.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001; Lean / Six Sigma problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMT process development, yield optimization, and line efficiency across SMT platforms.
• Drive NPI readiness and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, PCPs, and PFMEAs.
• Partner with design, QA, maintenance; manage capital projects and tool selection.
• Lead root-cause investigations and CAPA; ensure maintenance of process control.
