Job summary

J T in Seymour, CT is seeking a Process Engineer to support design, development, and execution of manufacturing processes for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will prepare engineering calculations, review blueprints, and assist with New Product Introduction (NPI).

This role emphasizes real-time troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and collaboration with Quality and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Strong mechanical foundation with automation focus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 solder inspection training.
• Familiarity with Shop Floor Tracking Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize manufacturing processes for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with QA on inspections and rework.
• Support NPI and equipment validation.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
