Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a capable evenings/shift operator to support SMT and PCB assembly, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.

The role emphasizes reading detailed instructions, operating automatic/semi-automatic equipment, and maintaining clean, safe work practices on a 24/7 global operation. You will join a team focused on high-precision manufacturing for complex systems, with opportunities to learn and cross-train across equipment.

Qualifications

• Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems.
• May be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety and material handling policies.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow assembly instructions and specifications for PCB and system assembly.
• Operate assigned equipment and assist with line changeovers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and proper waste handling.
• Support continuous improvement activities and training of others.
