Job summary

Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Ltd. in Reno, NV seeks an experienced SMT Process Engineer to design and optimize the entire SMT flow. You will review new product designs, develop fixtures, and document processes including SOPs and PFMEA, ensuring first-pass quality and efficient production.

The role requires 3–8+ years in SMT or electronics manufacturing, familiarity with IPC‑A‑610, and a data-driven, collaborative mindset to reduce defects and improve yield on high‑reliability products.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in electronics, mechanical design, automation or a related field.
• 3–8+ years in SMT or electronics manufacturing process engineering.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 and NPI process design is preferred.
• Familiarity with DFMs for new products and testing fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design, optimization, and abnormality resolution across SMT lines.
• Develop SOPs, PFMEA, and CP for new products and improve process capability.
• Manage parameters for printing, placement, reflow, and AOI/SPI inspection.
• Drive cost reduction, line balance, and automation initiatives.
