Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to join the SMT team, driving producibility in product design and smooth transitions to manufacturing. You will support SMT and through-hole soldering, evaluate new equipment and processes, and lead DFx reporting to improve manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar with 4+ years of experience.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the enterprise.
• Shows flexibility and stability in a dynamic technical environment.
• Applies methodical, analytical problem-solving to manufacturing challenges.
• Uses project management skills to ensure timely, complete production development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; pivot tables in Excel; Cost Point; coding ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SMT and through-hole soldering manufacturing.
• Specify and evaluate new equipment, processes, and materials.
• Lead SMT initiatives and promote best practices across SRC.
• Own PCA and SMT Rework processes for in-house production.
• Perform yield analysis and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure DFx is incorporated in manufacturing.
• Generate DFx reports to improve manufacturability of new products.
• Support transitions to volume manufacturing for new products.
• Mentor engineers and staff in manufacturing design practices.
