Job summary

Serco is seeking a SME Systems Engineer specializing in aircraft subsystem integration, airworthiness, and electronic warfare. You will support the USAF at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, with top secret clearance and SCI/SAP eligibility.

Roles include systems engineering, requirements translation, and program documentation. Extensive DoD contractor background and DoD acquisition knowledge are required, with travel up to 10% and a master’s degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
• 20+ years of relevant DoD/government or DoD contractor experience.
• SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in electronic warfare and systems engineering for classified DoD programs.
• Translate user requirements into contract system requirements documents.
• Apply systems engineering for hardware/software development and QA.
• Develop engineering strategies, analyses, and technical program documents.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and government representatives on activities.
• Assess AFRL tech initiatives to guide investments and transitions.
