Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Installer to install, test, repair, and service electrical and electro-mechanical equipment at customer locations. The role involves field and shop duties, delivering supplies, and maintaining records.

You will work closely with customers in homes or businesses, with a focus on safety, quality, and upselling. A valid driver's license and HS diploma are required; electrical trade training is a plus. A company vehicle and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 2 years installation experience preferred.
• Customer focused and customer driven mindset.
• Technical aptitude.
• Strong verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School degree or the equivalent.
• Electronic Trade School training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installs, dismantles, and reconstructs equipment required by customer or ADT order.
• Makes connections and adjustments; tests operation of all system components to the signal-receiving center.
• Evaluates job information, delivered materials, and premises layout for cable, conduit, and wiring.
• Reports defective materials or equipment and omissions that may affect protection for customer use.
• Follows safety practices to safeguard against injury and property damage.
• Maintains 93% quality and upsells of $850+ per month.
• Works in a dynamic, collaborative environment with customers and coworkers.
• Provides on-site solutions by visiting customers at homes or businesses.
