Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Installation Technician to assess customer needs, install and test home security systems, and educate clients on usage and safety. You will collaborate with customers and teammates to deliver reliable solutions at their homes or businesses.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and optional electronic trade school training. Customer focus and safety are critical to success.

Qualifications

• Must be customer focused and driven to meet customer needs.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to install and troubleshoot.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to explain systems to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and design appropriate system installations.
• Install and test equipment to ensure proper operation and signal reception.

• Identify opportunities to improve system usability and safety.
• Adhere to safety practices and protect materials and tools on site.
• Maintain clean work area and complete site decommissioning as required.
