Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Installer to install, test, repair, and service electrical and electro‑mechanical equipment at customer sites. You will work in homes or businesses, deliver supplies, and maintain records as required.

The role involves on-site installation, safety practices, and providing solutions while striving for high quality and occasional upsells. A valid driver’s license and HS diploma are required, with trade training a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years installation experience preferred.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Technical aptitude required.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Able to thrive in uncertainty.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Electronic trade school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, and reconstruct equipment per customer or ADT order.
• Test operation of all system components at the signal receiving center to establish service.
• Assess job site for layout and routing of cable, conduit and wiring.
• Promptly report defective materials or omissions that could affect protection.
• Follow safety practices to safeguard people and property.
• Maintain and secure materials and tools on site; keep area tidy.
• Perform other duties as required and uphold 93%+ quality.
• Upsell of $850+ per month where appropriate.
• Collaborate with customers and coworkers to deliver solutions.
