Job summary

The University of Texas Permian Basin invites applications for a Senior Slate CRM Developer in ITS. You will design, develop, and optimize Slate CRM solutions, configure workflows, and manage data integrations with university systems.

Strong SQL, API/ETL experience, and leadership are essential. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, setting development standards, and ensuring secure, scalable analytics and enrollment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of professional software development or enterprise-application experience.
• 5 years administering, developing, or supporting CRM/ERP or enterprise apps.
• Advanced SQL development and relational data design.
• Experience with APIs, web services, ETL or data-exchange tech.
• Experience with SDLC practices including requirements analysis, testing, debugging, deployment, and source control.
• Proven ability to lead complex work and establish technical standards.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate risks to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience applying data-governance, information-security, access-control, and data integrity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Slate CRM platform solutions within university architecture and security requirements.
• Configure Slate applications, workflows, forms, and enrollment functions.
• Design and maintain integrations between Slate and University systems via APIs, ETL, and data-exchange processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Slate-related projects and lead development workstreams.
