Job summary

BRAVO Group in New York City seeks an experienced Superintendent for a ground-up public agency project in Queens. You will coordinate the GC's work, identify issues, supervise self-perform tasks, and ensure on-site safety and quality. A minimum of 10 years in construction as a technical specialist, with NYC project experience, is required.

Valid license and OSHA/SST certifications are essential. Bradford Construction, BRAVO's Construction Management firm, is the operator for this opportunity,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in construction as a technical specialist.
• Experience interpreting contract documents (specifications, drawings, shop drawings).
• Experience with NYC public agencies is strongly preferred, especially for ground-up and gut renovation projects.
• OSHA and SST certifications; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee GC's management of their subcontractors on-site.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues as they develop.
• Supervise self-perform work and develop methods to improve efficiency.
• Oversee material receiving; ensure QC, tickets documented and filed.
• Maintain timekeeping and cost control records.
• Support jobsite reporting: daily/weekly/monthly schedules and updates.
• Review shop drawings and submittals to maintain schedule and docs.
• Attend all required jobsite meetings and ensure quality control.
