Job summary

Vorea Construction Group in New York City seeks a Superintendent I to lead field operations for defined project phases. You own the scope—from daily trade coordination and three‑week look‑aheads to safety enforcement and quality control, under the Senior Superintendent.

You’ll mentor Assistants, review drawings, and drive on-site logistics and documentation using Procore. You must have 4–8 years of NYC ground‑up residential/mixed‑use experience, familiarity with block and plank construction, and

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of field experience on ground‑up residential or mixed‑use projects in NYC.
• Experience with block and plank hollow‑core construction on CMU bearing walls.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations for project phases and coordinate trades.
• Maintain three‑week look‑ahead schedules with senior team.
• Ensure safety, quality, and site compliance; stop unsafe work.
• Review drawings, submittals, and shop drawings for constructability.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents in field supervision.
• Document daily reports, photos, and workforce logs in Procore.
