Qualifications

• 5–9 years in the field with a GC
• NYC experience; familiarity with DOB, site logistics, after-hours, and occupied buildings
• Licenses preferred: NYC DOB Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Coordinator, plus SST and OSHA 30
• You read the drawings and are not just a meeting attendee

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day field operations from start-up through punch and turnover
• Direct subcontractors, labor, and material flow on a live Manhattan/borough site
• Protect schedule with look-aheads, daily reports, and solve issues the same day they appear
• Hold quality and safety to NYC standards — drawings, specs, inspections, no surprises at closeout
• Coordinate with the project manager, building management, inspectors, and the owner
