Job summary

SD Builders and Construction LLC in New York City is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead daily field operations on ground-up projects. You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate schedules, enforce safety, manage materials, and drive on-site progress while serving as the critical link between field teams and project management.

With 5+ years in site supervision on ground-up construction, you read drawings, ensure code compliance, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Site Superintendent on ground-up construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and NYC building codes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proven leadership and subcontractor coordination experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk Build, Procure, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
