Innovative Custom Builders, based on the San Francisco Peninsula, seeks a Senior Site Superintendent to lead field operations on complex high-end custom residential projects. You will guide crews, coordinate subcontractors and project teams, and ensure timely moves from phase to phase, maintaining stringent craftsmanship and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a decade of hands-on construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and deep knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant construction field experience.
• Extensive experience with high-end custom residential construction.
• Proven ability to manage complex residential projects from early construction through completion.
• Strong understanding of framing, structural systems, waterproofing, building envelope, MEP coordination, finishes and site work.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and consultant drawings.
• Strong planning and anticipation of trades and crews needs.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and in-house field teams.
• Strong quality-control mindset with attention to high-end finishes and details.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day field operations for high-end custom residential projects.
• Manage multiple active projects when workload allows.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Proactively prepare for future phases and upcoming project needs.
• Review plans and field conditions to identify potential conflicts before they affect schedule or cost.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, access, sequencing, and activities.
• Maintain craftsmanship, quality control, organization, and safety on site.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure field execution aligns with planning and client expectations.
• Mentor and support other Site Superintendents on the team.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and resolve construction challenges efficiently.
• Maintain documentation and updates via Buildertrend and other systems.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, architects, designers, engineers, and consultants.
