Cody Vermette Group - Commercial Builders in California is seeking a Superintendent - Ground Up to lead field operations, manage schedules, safety protocols, and coordinate with Project Manager to complete projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of building systems, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project; travel to job sites is expected, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Experience managing a variety of commercial construction projects including tenant improvements and renovations is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale projects or manage multiple small projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in job walks and review plans, specs, and contracts.
• Prepare for and attend preconstruction team meetings and coordinate with internal field team members.
• Develop, monitor, and update the Master Schedule; generate weekly look-ahead schedules.
