Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. The initial project location is in northeast Ohio, with responsibilities spanning safety, quality control, scheduling, drawings, and client relations.

You will manage subcontractors, prepare progress and quality reports, ensure drawings are current, and coordinate with the Project Construction Manager. Extensive travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the drawings' intent.
• Keeps work on schedule; escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photographs and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May oversee key trades and subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Corresponds with project management and clients to handle issues clearly and professionally.
• Maintains on-site records and files per The Perry Group requirements.
• Follows The Perry Group Quality Policy and related instructions.
