Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager for our Buckeye, AZ site. You will partner with site operations to execute WHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement to reduce risk for associates.

You will build and lead a team of safety professionals, train operations leadership on EHS policies, and collaborate with regional teams to raise safety standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 7+ years leading safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 7+ years of people and performance management experience.
• Experience applying lean principles and process improvement in an operational setting.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends to support direct reports and site needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for local/regional regulations and Amazon WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with Amazon safety policies.
• Measure site performance against safety requirements and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and provide accurate reporting and metrics to support safety initiatives.
• Lead safety projects and analyze incident trends to drive resource allocation and risk reduction.
• Develop and mentor Safety Managers and Safety Associates at the site.
