Job summary

EverCommerce is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to focus on Cloud Engineering Operations. You will ensure reliability, performance, and operational stability across production SaaS infrastructure including AWS and hosted environments.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Windows/Linux, automation, and incident response, and can lead infrastructure modernization while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 8 years of systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Experience supporting infrastructure in AWS environments.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Experience designing or implementing infrastructure automation with scripting languages.
• Strong debugging, incident response, and root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, backups, and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and performance for production SaaS environments across AWS and hosting platforms.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Design monitoring, alerting, and visibility improvements.
• Support SOX, PCI, HIPAA compliance initiatives.
• Develop technical docs and infrastructure standards.
• Lead medium-sized infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and testing.
