Job summary

PNC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer within its technology organization, based in multiple locations. The role covers stabilizing environments, building robust dashboards, and leading incident response to ensure service continuity.

The candidate will contribute to capacity planning, change management, disaster recovery, and mentoring junior team members, in a company focused on an inclusive culture and customer-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

• University degree; 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
• Certifications often desired; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications and experience may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, monitoring, and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and stabilizes environments and sites; drives engineering stability with analytics & metrics.
• Implements robust dashboards and monitoring; defines SLAs and SLOs.
• Leads analysis of metrics for performance tuning and fault finding; conducts blameless post-mortems.
• Understands our stack to optimize deployment, configuration, monitoring, availability, latency, change management, and capacity planning.
• Participates in testing strategies, incident response and root cause analysis; drives continuous improvement.
• Mentors and trains junior team members on infrastructure & disaster recovery.
