Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Technical Lead for the MDES team to guide the next generation of Digital Payment products. You will bridge software engineering, operations, and partners to shorten feedback loops and improve reliability, latency, and availability across the MDES platform.

The role involves designing, implementing, and mentoring, building dashboards, and guiding automation to scale services in a global, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS or IT.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and web apps.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead site reliability initiatives from design to live.
• Develop and communicate service metrics and health dashboards.
• Scale systems via automation and performance tuning.
• Review incidents and drive prevention.
• Mentor technical staff and collaborate across teams.
