Archer is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability standards, guide complex decisions, and drive improvements across Windows, Linux, OCI, and hybrid environments. You will troubleshoot, validate production changes, and mentor engineers while partnering with security and networking teams.

The role emphasizes automation, runbooks, and scalable infrastructure, with a focus on proactive capacity planning, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Senior technical authority responsible for reliability standards and incident response across Windows, Linux, and cloud/legacy environments.
• Ability to move between architecture and hands-on execution, including troubleshooting and production validation.
• Experience defining engineering standards, operational controls, and reliability best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect reliable, secure, scalable infrastructure and services.
• Establish technical direction, standards, and operational best practices across environments.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and change validation.
• Develop and promote automation to reduce manual effort and risk.
• Own the administration and adoption of an enterprise automation platform.
