Job summary

Attain is seeking a Senior/Staff Site Reliability Engineer to design and maintain the infrastructure powering our fintech platforms. You will automate toil, implement reliable tooling, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure peak performance at scale.

You will harness AI agents, write Terraform modules, and shape observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Istio. This role emphasizes cloud-native skills on AWS or GCP and a strong focus on security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, SQL databases, stream/pub-sub technologies, serverless, and Terraform.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with SOC2 and PCI compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure powering all systems.
• Hunt down manual toil and automate it away with best-in-class tooling.
• Collaborate with nearly every engineering team to keep systems running and scalable.
• Use AI agents as force multipliers to create and improve internal tools.
• Define metrics, routing rules, and CI/CD pipelines; monitor databases and pipelines.
