Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an experienced Site Manager to provide on-site administrative and technical management for large, technically complex industrial construction projects. You will lead field personnel, subs, and interfaces with clients, engineering, and startup teams to ensure work is sequenced and built to design, budget, and schedule.

The role requires a strong background in construction disciplines, excellent communication and supervisory abilities, and the ability to drive safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 17 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on a similar project required.
• Or Associate Degree and 19 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on a similar project required.
• Or High School Diploma/GED and 21 years construction management experience or craft supervision experience on a similar project. Preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and supervise on-site discipline superintendents, scheduling, engineering, cost control, material control, commercial management, and administrative staff.
• Responsible for the overall project safety and compliance with the applicable Safety and Health Plans.
• Oversee and direct construction progress tracking and forecasting including Field Progress Measurement Systems and Critical Path Scheduling.
• Coordinate and communicate with the Engineering Manager and Discipline Engineers to plan and sequence engineering deliverables.
